I was inspired to start Species Sunday in October of 2018 after a weekend trip to the Florida Keys with my Marine Ecology class. Ever since I have done my best to share fun and interesting facts about a plant or animal that calls the ocean home. But most importantly, these posts were to inspire others to care more about each organism and understand how human activity has negatively impacted them... and how it is never to late to make a change for the better!
