More plastic than fish in the sea

“There’s plenty of fish in the sea,” many will say... but you know what else there is? Trash. There’s plenty of trash in the sea 🐟🗑 The fact the statement, “By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the worlds oceans” exists is just heartbreaking. We should of never gotten so bad at producing and disposing of waste that its alien presence has the potential to outnumber the very thing that gives the ocean life!

My Species Sundays are not to overwhelm your feed or discourage you about the future of our planet. No! The hope is to educate you on something you may have never known about (animal, plant, or issue). They're to inspire you to make that change in your life to not only protect the ocean and it’s absolutely incredible creatures, but to help preserve our planet as a whole! Anyone can be a world changer, you just have to want to care enough to do so!!
